Every year, experts from all over Poland meet in Gdansk to exchange knowledge and experience in the field of marketing and communication in the cultural sector. The Marketing in Culture conference offers a programme filled with substantive lectures, inspiring discussions and practical workshops. Employees of institutions, museums, galleries, cultural centres and centres, as well as freelancers and artists interested in effective communication of their activities are invited to participate.
How do we operate?
The professionalisation of cultural staff has not bypassed the promotion and marketing departments: for years, we have been observing an increased interest in modern tools and ways of communication in the sector. The conference is created to give participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the latest trends and technologies used in cultural promotion. Invited experts talk about various aspects of communication, inspire the use of new solutions, share practical tips, introduce interesting case studies.
The practical dimension of the event also translates into behind-the-scenes meetings: the conference promotes networking, facilitates meeting people working in other organisations and encourages the sharing of good practices. Workshops are an important part of the event, offering an in-depth look at selected topics and the opportunity to work in smaller groups.
Deadline
The conference has been organised since 2015. The event is usually held in the spring.
Rules of participation
The conference is ticketed. Ticket sales open approximately one month before the event. Separate registration is required for workshops.
